This Week's Thrift Round Up

Hello to all my new and old fashionable followers, I just want to say thank you for sharing this little blog of mine with me, its something I do as an outlet for myself and something I enjoy to showcase my love of vintage,fashion,and thrifting as well as self-awareness as a plus-size young woman in this straight sized world, and I never would have thought people would want to share this journey with me, it means a lot. Your comments inspire me and lift me up and I am grateful for you all to share your words with me as I share with you. As I near 100 post I am thankful for the rocky beginning and cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.

So I will officially be on a thrift store ban for about a week or so...I know this is just sad to have to ban myself from thrifting but I tell ya its just something about finding an amazing item for lil to nothing that gets my adrenalin pumping lol, anyway I have to spill it about today's thrifting adventure....oh yes what an adventure it was. I woke up at 9 cooked my breakfast and put it on a plate to go, took a shower put on my clothes and I was out of the door by 9:45am headed to my neighborhood goodwill, which happens to be one of the bigger ones HUGE in town...ok...here's how my plan was suppose to go

Park....Walk in head for the Men's section to get my brother pieces for his joker costume.... pay walk away with one bag

Here's what really happened...Walked in...got a basket...started scanning, realized the color was red...darted to center racks....fell in love with a gazillion sweaters...piled basket until no more clothes could fit, continued to rummage through the store for another hr piling my basket...headed into dressing room came out with full basket...

Yeah I went crazy...yall do not understand I have never seen so many things in my size at goodwill in one day and it all was 99 cent. Yessss that is correct I said for 99 CENT! I said to myself this must have been meant for me...I told myself I was only going to get the stuff for my brothers costume and nothing more, but I needed this today. I actually had been feeling crappy about my thrift finds recently it has been a bit dry,but this thrift find that took place Wed got me feeling renewed. I can actually happily take a break for about a week or 2. I found so many good things I cannot wait to wear. Spent 19 bucks and I walked away with 6 huge bag fulls,check out what I got. The dressing room was no help I could fit everything and loved it all,so i just decided to get it all, it was no way I was going to let anyone walk away with my finds...no mam. I have self-control,yall I really do but my motto...I can pass  up a deal but never ever walk away from a steal (a steal is practically getting an item for free). So all in all it was a great thrift haul from goodwill. I added in my finds from Music City Thrift on their 99 cent day, I was not as lucky and walked about with about 2 99cent shirts,but 2 is good for me.
