A quick outfit post before I head to bed. I wore this last week. I really love the skinny cargos. This was another find from the kmart LYS extra 40% off clearance sale. I tweeted about it last week. If your local kmart has the LYS line drop in more reductions and sales are always going on at the Big K.

My trend4less want of this week are these hot fringed skinny jeans. When I was net shopping (the same as window shopping) to see what was new on the forever 21 site. I saw these babies and though they were so hot and sexy.

This is the jacket I picked up from last weeks thrift haul. I could not wait to wear it. I scored these jeans from Kmart during their big additional 40% off clearance sale which made these jeans $7.99 almost all of the clothes in their LYS line was heavily marked down and I snag some things I had been eyeing for a while.

I was running a bit behind on getting ready for class. I had a look in mind but it just was not going over well. Now this dress is a thrift score from months and months ago like last spring when I 1st started thrifting really. I always like this dress but could never wear it right. I considered the length to be the problem and thought about cutting it,but I really did not want to bother trying to hem that baby up and it still not looking right.

Thrifting Thursdays: My biggest thrift haul yet!!!

Before Friday comes I had to share for thrifting Thursdays. I tweeted Monday that I had my biggest thrift haul ever and couldn't wait to show you guys. I spent $50 with savings of over $250.00 from Music City Thrift . It was an amazing haul and I could not believe all my finds. I got up early Monday and went before class and came out winning yall!!!

I wore this look to class a few days ago minus the lipstick. I actually bought that lipstick a few days earlier and once I got home to take pictures I wanted to see how it looked. I have always thought black lipstick gives outfits that edge,now maybe with this outfit I may appear gothic or whatever but I loved it on. Its semi-matte and it was .99 from the beauty supply.

I wore this Sunday and really loved this outfit so much. I got to wear my new shoes my sister got me. They aren't the real jc Litas,but I love these and they will do for now. This yellow green wool blazer is by far my favorite blazer right now. It just seems to go perfectly with everything. The right pop of color.

I was woken up early by a nightmare. Remind me never to watch infested before going to sleep. Wore this look to class, scored these leggins this week and had to wear them. I so love this coat,this is my everday coat. I love the military look about it. The neon vans was an after christmas sale score from Urban Outfitters for $10... and I'm so loving my new genie locs my sister re-did them last week. Fresh Hair & fresh leggings. I LUV!!

Thrifting Thursdays/Fri Cont: Pt 3

Ok so yes Fashionista's I was very tired yesterday and couldn't finish my thrift haul post but here it is now!!!!

Luckily lab did not last but an hour and I jetted out of class only to realize I had a ton of things to do this afternoon/evening which involved ripping and running across town. Now I'm finally home with a little time to spare before I have to head back out to pick up my lil brother and sister and on and on..... This is this weeks goodwill thrift finds, these were prob my fav this week. Check out the haul!!!

Yess I have been away for a few days. There was a snow day last friday and I started my 3 day weekend early. I actually spent the entire weekend almost taking down my genie locs/yarn braids and then getting them re-done by my lil sister that took a 19hrs between 3 days lol. I love them though and they are a great protective style for my hair since I am transitioning. Anyway once school started back on Tuesday I knew I was going to finish out the Dayz of Blaze it was a fun week trying to do different looks with the blazers.

Blaze of Dayz: Day 4

Here we are and it is basically the end of the week. I started my 1st day of class and know for sure I made the most awesome decision to get my masters. My Landscape design class has a brand new studio built just for us. Our class is tiny about 4 students, we have all of this cool technology and we get to use ipads *yaay*. I cannot wait to share some of my designs with you all. I thought that was so cool. Of course I have been doing dayz of Blaze with my sister Fashionably Young all week and did not fall short today despite it was freezing,raining,and gloomy.

We are 4 days into the New Year. I don't know why, things seem to be moving a bit fast. My momma always would say if the 1st of the month falls on the weekend the month just flies by, maybe that's what it is. My siblings are back in school after their Christmas break. I'm happy about that, now I can be back to my regular work out schedule and food schedule and get some alone time before classes start next week.
